You might be surprised to hear that when we are in Paris, we normally don’t eat at bistros and brasseries. Although we love good steak frites and onion soup (you can find some of the best ones here), we can’t get enough Japanese food. Paris has some of the best Japanese restaurants we have ever experienced — from sushi bars with only a few seats to hand rolls to restaurants known for their udon or soba noodles.

New Paris Hotel: Bloom House Hotel & Spa
The Bloom House Hotel and Spa will transport you to the south of France! One of Paris’ most exciting hotel openings, stepping into the brand new Bloom House Hotel and Spa in the 10th arrondissement reminds us of a boutique hotel on the Côte d’Azur. It’s truly an urban oasis in the middle of Paris.
We found the rooms to be larger than average for Paris with a sustainable touch, like glass carafes that can be filled at a water machine in the hall (still and sparkling). Being a brand new property, the rooms are quiet and the heating and air conditioning is also state of the art and can be controlled from the front desk — something to keep in mind if you’re visiting in summer or winter.
